Color theme

A Tiki Theme in Sunset Orange & Fuchsia

For Marieka’s wedding we wrapped a bamboo arch in orange and fuchsia chiffon to match the sunset, tied orange and fuchsia sashes on white chairs, and lined the aisle with orange plumerias. Hand carved tiki statues stood guard by the aisle, with a lava rock wrapped in maile and flowered pink parasols for a touch of old Hawaii.

The little things make the theme: big orange and dark pink bows on every chair, flowered parasols in the sand, and a ceremony table draped in pink with white flower leis waiting for the couple and their families.

Romance on the Sand

When the ceremony was over, the bride lay back on the warm sand between the tikis, her new husband leaned in for a kiss, and our photographer captured a sleeping beauty on the beach.

Traditions

A Hawaiian Ring Blessing

Many couples add a Hawaiian tradition to their ceremony. In a ring blessing, the rings are placed in a ti leaf and blessed before they are exchanged.
