Karen and James were married in June 2007 in a chapel high above the cliffs of Makapuu, with tall arched windows looking out to the ocean. A harpist played as their family took their seats, and the minister led their ceremony at the altar.
After the vows they stepped outside for photos on the chapel lawn with the mountains and the sea all around, and on another day they explored the coast on a photo tour: Lanikai beach, Makapuu and a sunrise over the water.
