Staying at a house on the beach east coast of Oahu . .
Ariels bouquet consisted of multi colored plumeria flowers set in a silver bouquet holder, she took pre wedding photos in her beach house right on the ocean.
Flower for the brides hair: mixture of rainbow plumerias.
like to get married at 1:30pm, to have great lighting for the sun to be at a good angle at that time for photos .
Colors/Flowers – French style round…..We have decided that our colors will be fuchsia, orange, and yellow. I would like my bouquet to be plumerias in those colors, as well as our leis. We have also decided to go with the bamboo arch with fuchsia, orange, and yellow fabrics and flowers scattered around. We would like to incorporate pineapples and those decorative monarch butterflys that are featured in some of the layouts into our theme as well.
Minister – We would like to request Rev Chris as our first choice,
Will we be meeting with our minister before our ceremony, to talk to him about the details of our vows,
Cake – We would like to have a coconut cake with vanilla buttercream frosting (or something along those lines) in a tiered design (2-3 tiers) with flowers in our colors cascading down the side/around the base.
We would like to add more photos after the wedding and do trash the dress shoot, i would love to get in the ocean with my dress……
Well, that’s it for now. We are soooooooooooooo excited and are counting down the days – less than 4 months now! We are so excited to get married at Oahu beach house wedding. We are interested in the Lovers In Paradise package, but there are a few things we would like to add to it. We would like to add an arch – either one of the bamboo/fabric ones or something like the tiki/palm one on this page: http://www.alohaislandweddings.com/hawaii_beach_weddings.htm
We would also like to get the negatives to our photos (you take AMAZING pictures!) and make sure we have a large enough cake and enough leis for our guests. We are probably going to have around 20 people attending, but we aren’t 100% sure yet. Basically, we just want to have a very casual wedding with our family and friends standing around us – no aisle, no official bridesmaids/groomsman, and so on.
We are not sure what time of day we should have the ceremony at. We would like to have our pictures taken after we are married, though. So, whenever you think the sun is at the best angle and the beach looks the prettiest. 🙂 We really aren’t too picky. Also, we don’t really want to have a private reception/party afterwards, but we would like to do something with our guests. Are there any luaus we could attend or do you have any other ideas for affordable things we could do with our guests in the evening after the ceremony?
